Lee left Stanford University and turned pro in the year 2019. Her record as an amateur included 17 weeks in the World Amateur Golf Ranking. Lee received the Mark H. McCormack award during the year 2019 following being the number one amateur. Lee was an amateur of the top who scored four albatrosses as well as four holes-in-1.
